Safety Warning (Grip Lock)

Using hand grips during gymnastics movements involves risk. Grip Lock can occur if the grip wraps excessively around the bar and gets stuck, leading to possible injury.

HD vs OG – What’s the difference?

All Frog Grips are available in two styles:

    HD (Heavy Duty): Wider wrist strap and larger palm area – more stability and support.

    OG (Original Grip): Thinner strap and minimalist coverage – shaped to follow the natural hand line.

Material and thickness are identical – only the fit and feel differ.
How to choose the right size?

General recommendation for fingerless grips like Elite Grips:

    Stick to your true size, or go one size up max.

    Due to the high grip strength of the material, you don’t need excess length. Too much length increases the risk of Grip Lock by wrapping too far around the bar.
