    Use a lifting belt for movements that engage your core — such as squats, deadlifts, clean and jerks, and snatches.

  2. 80% RULE
    We recommend using a belt when lifting heavy — typically around 80% of your one-rep max. “Heavy” is relative, but this range provides optimal support and performance.

  3. REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS UNDER LOAD
    Even if you’re lifting less than 80% of your max, belts are often worn for high-volume or repetitive sets under load.

  4. PLACEMENT
    Wear your belt securely above your hips and below your ribs, centered around your belly button for maximum core engagement.
